A report from Manhattan Venture Research values Spotify at $5.74 billion, finding potential in the company even though a profit isn’t predicted to arrive until 2019. Analysts at the merchant bank believe strong subscriber and revenue growth since the investment warrant the $1.7-billion premium over its $4-billion valuation around the time of its last fundraising, in September of 2013.
