According to the company, 1.5m people activated its Spotify app – dressed up as ‘PlayStation Music’ – on their PS3 and PS4 consoles during its first day of availability on Monday (March 30). Although it’s impossible to know how many of those were existing Spotify users – signing in to their account through a new device – it’s an undeniably impressive start for the app.
