After news of David Bowie’s death was announced earlier this week, fans flocked to various sites and services to listen to his music and pay tribute. On Vevo, they even set a new record. The music video provider says that Bowie’s back catalog attracted some 51 million views on January 11th (including views via YouTube). This is in comparison to the previous record holder Adele, whose songs and videos racked up 36 million views on October 23rd last year when her single “Hello” was released.
