Disney is weaning itself off ESPN for future earnings success 

The Walt Disney Co. has reached a turning point when it comes to its ESPN unit, dubbed the worldwide leader in sports broadcasting. That vexing network is closing in on representing less than 20% of Disney’s earnings, according to RBC Capital Markets analyst Steven Cahall.
