Conferences Concurrent Media Strategies is proud to be partnering with Variety to present the first annual Variety Entertainment Apps conference on December 1 at the Sofitel hotel in Los Angeles. The conference is the first to focus exclusively on the role of self-contained apps and apps platforms in content monetization strategies for media and entertainment companies.
Panel topics include new social-viewing apps for movies and TV shows, monetization strategies for second-screen and companion apps, the use of apps for content discovery and promotion, the future of tent-pole apps, and a special panel on the creative and story-telling potential of entertainment apps.
Speakers at the event will include: Steve Andrade of NBC.com, Colin Helms of MTV Networks, Tyler Slocum of DirecTV, Chris Hewish of DreamWorks Animation, Elias Plishner of Sony Pictures, Seth Polsky of Flixter and Alex Barkaloff of Lionsgate, along with many other leading executives from the movie, TV and videogame industries.
