Grammys creating advocacy coalition

A copyright overhaul would involve many moving parts, encompassing royalties paid to performers and songwriters for the sale of physical and digital products; synchronization licenses allowing music to be used with film and television; rates that streaming services such as Spotify and Pandora pay to creators; licensing fees for terrestrial and satellite radio; and even, perhaps, a royalty paid to performers whose music gets played on radio — something for which the current copyright law doesn’t allow.
