Warner strikes ‘first-of-its-kind’ deal with blockchain gaming developer Splinterlands

Warner Music Group (WMG) has entered into a partnership with blockchain gaming developer Splinterlands. Described by WMG as a “first-of-its-kind deal”, the partnership will see the two companies collaborate to give select WMG artists opportunities to create and develop play-to-earn (P2E), arcade-style blockchain games. Songwriters to Protest Spotify at Los Angeles Demonstration Feb. 28

In the wake of ebbing controversy against Spotify’s partnership with podcaster Joe Rogan, Grammy-winning songwriter Tiffany Red and the advocacy group the 100 Percenters are planning a peaceful protest against the music streaming service on Feb. 28.
