MLB’s Streaming-Tech Unit Goes Pro

Media companies including Time Warner and Sony have held talks with the league about coming on board as strategic investors, according to people familiar with the matter. People close to the league believe the MLBAM tech unit—which brought in over $100 million in revenue last year and is growing at a double-digit percentage pace—could be valued at more than $5 billion.
