This week, private equity-backed Univision said it was bringing on board former Goldman Sachs TMT banker Francisco Lopez-Balboa as its new chief financial officer just weeks ahead of its planned IPO.
Just a few days previously, Comcast had said it had found a replacement for outgoing Michael Angelakis. The company is drafting Michael Cavanagh, who hails from Carlyle Group, where he was a co-president. He’s also a previous CFO of JP Morgan Chase’s operating committee, according to his bio.
