Beyond the $2.5 billion in annual cost savings AT&T expects to get by 2018, the company said wireless subscribers could add DirecTV to their plans, allowing them to watch video at home and on mobile devices. Still, it is unclear how pricing for such a plan would work and whether consumers want to watch full shows on their phones given small screen sizes and data fees.
