YouNow lets people stream live video footage, primarily via their mobile phones, to groups of fans in real time. Not unlike Amazon’s live video game streaming platform Twitch, YouNow is designed to be highly participatory. Viewers can make comments and ask performers questions, which appear in real-time alongside live videos.
