Often referred to as second screens, laptops and smartphones are now becoming the go-to choice for consumers according to a recent survey conducted by Irdeto. When it comes to what device consumers use most often in their living room, 37 percent of respondents said they used their laptop the most; smartphones came in second at 32 percent, and set-top boxes behind them at 30 percent. Tablets (19 percent) and Smart TVs (14 percent) rounded out the top five, with streaming devices coming in at 7 percent.
