Cablevision (NYSE: CVC) announced a somewhat novel TV Everywhere distribution deal with CBS Corp., in which the cable company will enable its customers to live-stream the CBS network when they’re out of the home. Such live streaming must be in an area in which CBS has an owned-and-operated station — which shouldn’t be a problem for Cablevision subscribers, given that the MSO’s 3 million subscribers are in proximity of New York’s WCBS-TV.
