The forward portion of the FCC’s spectrum auction begins Tuesday (Aug. 16), with the FCC hoping wireless companies step up to the plate. In the forward auction, wireless companies and others will bid for broadcast spectrum reclaimed in the reverse auction, which ended June 29.
