AT&T Says Revenue Will Likely Miss 

AT&T Inc. warned Wednesday that its third-quarter revenue will likely fall below Wall Street’s expectations, a surprise disclosure the day before the telecom is slated to report its latest results. The company said revenue estimates are “inflated” because of a discrepancy in how analysts are accounting for its $49 billion acquisition of DirecTV, which closed during the third quarter.
