The streaming service is going on the offensive amid a Congressional probe of its new Discovery Mode feature, and it has help from some indie distribution CEOs. In a post on its Spotify for Artists blog, the Swedish streaming service highlighted Argentinian singer Natalie Perez — who is signed to French label Believe — pointing out how a collection of artist-friendly tools, most notably Discovery Mode, helped to push her sophomore album Detox to new heights.
